Please upload the following documents

1. ID Copy
2. 2 x character references
   • 1 x spouse / partner / family member
   • 1 x non family member / friend / neighbour
3. Copy of any shooting or hunting club memberships (Section 15 & 16)
4. Copies of all your existing licenses (front and back)
5. Any other documents or photo’s that will strengthen your motivation
6. For Hunting: Invitation letter from farm where you hunt

If your firearm was bought from a private individual or another gun shop please attach the following:

1. Certified copy of the current owners ID
2. Certified copy of the current owners licence card
3. SAPS271 form bearing the current owners / Gun shops details

• You will need to make an appointment to submit your application pack in person at your nearest Police Station.
• You will need to provide R161 cash to SAPS.
• You will need to certify your documents at the charge office before your appointment.
• You will need to provide 2 x colour ID photos when submitting your documentation to SAPS.
